We all have secretly desired to have the power to influence someone’s thoughts. INCEPTION movie have a very special liking amongst such others. Facebook is also in the contention to create a wearable device on head that can read the thoughts.

The days are not far when such implanted AI chips can give amazing superhuman capabilities. Nikolas Kaironos, CEO and founder of Fountech.ai, in an interview in the DailyStar mentioned, “You won’t need to memorize anything. You could ask a question in your head, such as how to say something in French, get the information from the AI implant, and then be able to say it”, he quoted.

Prime focus of Fountech is to help businesses integrate AI into their daily operations. The Soffos project, they are associated with; uses AI to deliver an extensive range of new learning experience also cater the content to individuals, and such other uses are highly prevalent in the genre.

In addition, Northwestern University neuroscientist Dr. Moran Cerf is also working with Silicon Valley companies, which he refused, to names, who are working on developing such chips for brain. Increased intelligence will also have its dark side. The IQ level of a person may vary on many counts. An average human have an IQ of 100; while a genius has an IQ upwards 140. Once the chip is implanted, people with same IQ level can think of right investments and get rich with time.

Even the tech giants like Facebook are not far behind in the market. Their “brain mouse”, a non-invasive brain interface can help control AR (Artificial Reality) applications. However, he clarified in a recent interview that it would not be an implant but a wearable device like a cap. It is still in very early stages but they are planning to make it as a wearable product on a larger scale. He also mentioned that the device would let the user type straight out of the thought and that too five times faster than we do today.

Elon Musk is also not far behind in the race. His company Neuralink announced that they are working on brain-machine interface (BMI) that will implant microchips into the brains of paralysed people enabling them to work on smart phones and computers.

On the flip side, there are psychologists who have questioned such strain on brain or how it may hinder the continuity of the brain activity. The continuation of memory, personality traits, habits even addictions may hinder and such might affect the continuity of brain.

It is suggested that the experts must work in tandem with such brain experts to find solutions that will be less harmful and more beneficial. The success of such implanted AI chips or the wearables depend highly on the psychological scenarios.
